• Supabase authentication tokens, stored in your browser's local storage, to keep you signed in.
• Session tokens, used to verify that requests to our servers come from an authenticated user.
• Preference storage, such as your cookie consent choice.

2. Why We Use Them

These mechanisms exist purely to make the platform function:

• Authentication — so you don't have to log in again on every page.
• Security — to verify your identity on each request and protect your account.
• User preferences — to remember choices you've made, like dismissing this cookie notice.

3. What We Don't Use

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or any cookies that build a profile of you for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Cookies

A small number of our service providers may set their own cookies or storage on our domain:

• Supabase — for authentication and session management.
• Sentry — for error monitoring, running server-side only.

5. Managing Cookies

You can control or delete cookies and local storage through your browser's settings. Most browsers let you view, manage, and clear stored data on a per-site basis.

Note: disabling cookies or local storage for EduSeat will prevent you from staying logged in, and you may be unable to use the platform. If you run into login issues after changing your browser settings, contact support@eduseat.ng.
